Stamp Press Operator

Position includes Operating a stamping press machine designed to press metal workpieces for pallet and log repair.

Operators are responsible for running a metal stamp press machine, count and package pieces, and load cartons ready for shipment. This position requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs. Operators are required to monitor equipment and adjust controls as needed. Previous experience as a press operator preferred. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate a stamping press machine designed to press metal workpieces for pallet and log repair
  • Monitor equipment during operation and control the rate of production
  • Remove excess metal from the press and add lubricant as needed
  • Perform quality control inspections and maintain an accurate count when packaging metal workpieces
  • Assist in set up of steel coils on stamping presses
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing work in accordance with quality standards
  • Support and follow all OSHA safety standards as well as company policies

Qualifications

  • Education—High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • 2 years of machine operator experience preferred
  • Punctual and reliable attendance record
  • Ability to work independently while meeting production requirements

  • Extended use of welding helmet and other protective equipment

Machine Assembler / Mechanic

This position includes assembling and fabricating newly manufactured machine parts and products.

The Machine Assembler/Mechanic position includes assembling and fabricating newly manufactured machine parts and products. Mechanics will conduct test runs on new equipment in the plant. Individuals must read, interpret and follow instructions from basic blueprints and diagrams. Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is required.

Must be willing to travel 40-60 days per year, 90% domestic, 10% international.  Passport required. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Assemble newly manufactured machines and perform test runs on new equipment in the plant
  • Dismantle, inspect, repair, and re-assemble used machinery
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing work in accordance with quality standards

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to problem solve basic machine issues
  • Be willing to travel (Passport preferred)
  • PLC knowledge is a plus

Robotic Welding Operator

This position includes programming and operating a robotic welding cell.

Electrical Field Service Technician

Position includes test running new industrial equipment/machinery in our plant and the installation of new machinery systems, service and repairs to existing equipment in the field.

The field service technician – electrical specialist.  position includes test running new industrial equipment/machinery in our plant and the installation of new machinery systems, service and repairs to existing equipment in the field. The individual should have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics as well as electrical. Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics is required.

Must be willing to travel 40-60 days per year, 90% domestic, 10% international.  Passport required.  PLC knowledge required, programming highly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCad software is required.  Language - Spanish or French as a second language is desired.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide customer onsite service support to include installations, diagnostics, repair, testing and maintenance of industrial machinery.
  • Provide over-the-phone diagnostic and troubleshooting and determine proper solutions for customers.
  • Assemble electrical control consoles according to schematics, blueprints, and Bom.
  • Perform initial testing of newly built machinery to verify quality and safety standards
  • Build positive relationships with customers

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong deductive reasoning skills and ability to isolate electrical problems efficiently
  • Technical degree or certification required
  • Comply with company and customer's quality and safety procedures and processes
  • Maintain and promote a clean, safe, and orderly work area at all times
