Stamping Press Operator

PRS is searching for a Stamp Press Operator. Operators are responsible for running a metal stamp press machine, count and package pieces, and load cartons ready for shipment. This position requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs. Operators are required to monitor equipment and adjust controls as needed. Previous experience as a press operator preferred. 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a stamping press machine designed to press metal workpieces for pallet and log repair
• Monitor equipment during operation and control the rate of production
• Remove excess metal from the press and add lubricant as needed
• Perform quality control inspections and maintain an accurate count when packaging metal workpieces
• Assist in set up of steel coils on stamping presses
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while performing work in accordance with quality standards
• Support and follow all OSHA safety standards as well as company policies

Qualifications

• Education—High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• 2 years of machine operator experience preferred
• Punctual and reliable attendance record
• Ability to work independently while meeting production requirements
